Kankakee Sands & Willow-Slough FWA
Today's hike was led by Mat Beatty. This was also our 1st visit to the Kankakee Sands area. It is wonderful, though we couldn't see the star of the place, the reintroduced American Bisons. Hopefully, we will be going there again to see the variety of native wildflowers, birds, and other critters. The photos here are from Kankakee Sands & Willow-Slough FWA
